After extensive testing, I have found out that the original Blox is compatible with typical Dell Minis or netbooks. So, if you please you may download Blox and install it for your netbook.

About
February and March were very successful months for Zeus Software. I have managed to release 3 projects that I was working on that include Blox 2.0, Beach Break!, and Easy Trees. The majority of this newsletter will be about that, plus some other random things.
Beach Break!
It is about time I release a game you do not have to download huh? In Beach Break you can break the clams with your bubble by hitting hit against the crab in this aquatic themed Brick Break clone. Coming up for Beach Break will features like Zeus Online ribbons, Kongregate badges, power ups, power downs, more levels, and just today I finally released a version (1.0.4b) that fixed the right bouncing boundary glitch.
Blox 2.0 Challenge Pack I
A new challenge pack has been released for Blox 2.0 if you are a Zeus Online member. If you are not a member, you need to seriously consider it, everything I have done has included Zeus Online in some way (particularly Blox 2.0 and Beach Break). It adds four new challenges and four new ribbon opportunities for Blox 2.0 fans.
Bounty
My first 3d game will be a First Person Shooter known so far as Bounty. You are bounty hunter that starts out at rank 1 and do assassination or other types of missions to rank up and become a respectable bounty hunter. Tons of ribbons will be done for this one plus a new Zeus Online client update will be available for the release which as of now is unknown. The cover of this Newsletter features one of the mission assigners.
A New Zeus Online
The Zeus Online client is to receive a huge makeover when Bounty is released. The client will run and function completely differently. No hints right now though, still planning. But you’ll see, YOU’LL ALL SEE!

Ah, cant you smell the new year? A fresh start due to the new decade, well that also means a fresh start for Zeus Software. The resolution this year is to bring more Zeus Software
games to public. In issue two of the newsletter I will discuss the progress of the two new games that are already near completion and will be released within the next few months of this year.
Apology
I am sorry I couldn’t bring you issue two a little earlier, I had a lot on my hands at the time and the website had a few errors that needed fixed.
A New Decade
This new decade means a lot to me, you are going to see a lot of games released this year and this decade. With two already near completion, I have at least 2 or 3 more lined up for this year. Zeus Online Client will also be included with Blox 2.0 so that will be like six releases for this year. I also plan to release a three-dimensional game or two this year.
Blox 2.0 Progress
Blox 2.0 is finally nearing completion! There are still a few features to add such as Challenge Mode, Zeus Online, and the ability to post highscores from the game. You will also be able to receive ribbons that will be available to post on your Zeus Online profile that will add to your ribbons list which will add to your rank. As you see, there is a lot of work to do within the game and on the website itself. Beach Break!
Beach Break is Zeus Software’s first attempt at a Flash game. It is a Brick Break clone that is beach themed. The paddle is a sailboat, the ball is a beach ball and you are breaking clams instead of the traditional bricks. It will be available for Zeus Online users and Kongregate users by March of this year. Engine changes…
January 16th, 2010For 3d games, Zeus Software has made engine changes, UDK (Unreal Development Kit) will now be used for Zeus Software 3d games while we will still be using the DarkBasic Professional Engine as well. Look for these labels at the beginning at Zeus Software games,
- This image will be used if a game we make is made with the UDK.
- This will be used at the beginning of web games.
- This will be used with game made in DarkBASIC.
- Games that use PhysX will have this at the intro.
And of course the Zeus Software intro which will be a lightning strike and then the display of the company name, and possibly, if Happy Cheesecake Design works with me, his logo too.

A glance at 2010….
January 12th, 2010Zeus Software is going to step up the pace in 2010. I will be releasing new games, and also building a Zeus Online community for the website. Also, two new games are confirmed and one is in the making, these games are,
- Blox 2.0 (In Development)
- EezyTrees Final
- Splat the Cat! Remake
- Rise of Anarchy

Recent Problems
December 23rd, 2009As of right now, the main Zeus Software office does not have electricity, the website has been overrun with spam, our FTP client is down, and I do not have a lot of free time on my hands. Until January 5th, it is my duty to try to reform the site, the new URL is posted on the forums. I promise I am trying to have everything up before 1/1/2010, no guarantees though.

Will it remain free?
EezyTrees was created as a free program and shall remain as so.
Will there be frequent updates?
While we don’t like to have your auto-updater constantly updating, I plan to keep the program active.
Why should I use EezyTrees?
EezyTrees is an easy alternative to having to even waste 10 minutes making a forest for your game when you can do it in 3 at least.
What makes EezyTrees different for TreeMagick?
EezyTrees is a free alternative to TreeMagick.
Will EezyTrees be able to make plants?
With the customizable options, and the ability to load mods, yes.
